Macleaya Cordata Extract

What is Macleaya cordata?

Macleaya cordata is an herbaceous perennial growing to 2.5 m (8 ft) tall, it is native to China and Japan. Macleaya cordata extract contains Alkaloids , sanguinaine and chelerythrine, which have fungicidal and insecticidal activity. Sanguinarine (pseudochelerythrine) is a potent inhibitor of NF-kappaB activation, IkappaBalpha phosphorylation, and degradation. It has strong function of anti-biotics, that’s why it is commonly applied in the feed field. Our extraction method for Sanguinarine is Supercritical extraction, and the highest specification can reach 95% by HPLC.

Main Function

1. Antibacterial effect : The three kinds of biological total base in the product can kill nematodes

2. Killing maggot: It can inhibit fly eggs from hatching. The strongest parts

with the effects on killing maggots are leaves and pericarp, then stems, the roots are the least.

3. It can inhibit some certain bacteria and fungi.
